UNSW Law

The law is not an end in itself. It can be used for good or for bad. It can marginalise and harm, but it can also lift up those in need and uphold social values of fairness, equality and the rule of law.

Widely regarded as one of Australia's top law schools, UNSW Law is committed to the notion that the law must serve the needs of the community.

The Faculty is a hub for thought-leadership and home to some of the world’s most highly-regarded and influential minds. We are united in our commitment to finding solutions for real-world issues, and improving access to justice for some of the world’s most marginalised people.

Already, we have made advances towards constitutional reforms to ensure First Nations Australians have a strong voice in public policy and the laws that affect them. We have influenced new policy frameworks and operational responses for people displaced by disaster and climate change. And we have made progress towards gender equality in Australia and around the world.

But there is still much more we need to do - and you can help. Your donation to UNSW Law will strengthen our capacity to influence public debate, shape government policy, and drive innovation across a range of pressing social and environmental justice issues.
